026. peace, chinese food, ucla & good company.

during december-january, my parents and i went to europe for vacation. we were in italy for a week and visited the vatican. i absolutely fell in love with a pendant i saw at the vatican gift shop and purchased it! i finally got a necklace chain for it (thanks to my mom!), so that's what i've been wearing lately. :] it makes me happy.

monday, my parents and i took my cousin, josephine, out for dinner @ macau street restaurant in cerritos. then we dropped her off to UCI afterward.

pfft, josephine hid from the camera.

hello, daddy. :)

hello, mommy. :)

why, hello there, hong kong style milk tea that i absolutely love drinking.

tea, plate, napkin, and chopsticks. ready for action, baby.

delicious soup, indeed.

wednesday, dorothy and i went to ucla to visit people.
they had a pseudo veteran's cemetary to commemorate veteran's day.

hello, morgan. :)

hello, conor. :)

it was also great seeing pam, eric, & both michelles. :)
i must admit, i am a bit jealous of their campus. but, hey, berkeley has its perks too.

saturday should be fun. paul and i are having a moviefest! we're going to an indie theater in costa mesa and we're watching these wonderful films [click image for movie info]:

i'm very excited to see paris je t'aime. i saw the trailer a month or so ago and i really wanted to see if after that. and conor recommended once, so that should be good as well. the critic and viewer reviews for both movies are rather excellent, so i hope i will not be disappointed!

last night (thursday, considering it is after midnight already ;]), i watched the black dahlia with my parents. and, well, that movie was rather disappointing. eh. earlier in the day, i managed to clean my room a bit, organize my music on my external harddrive (argh!), read, and get guitar pointers from my dad :). i'm currently working on two books: on the road by jack kerouac (which is long overdue, really. i should have finished reading this back in december! i borrowed it from jackie's boyfriend, alex, and have yet to return it! ah!) and catholic & christian by alan schreck, who is a professor of theology @ franciscan university. i borrowed the latter from morgan on wednesday. seems pretty interesting. it attempts to explain commonly misunderstood catholic beliefs and discusses differences & similarities between catholicism and the other christian faiths.

today (friday), i may be visiting my high school & having lunch with aimmee and mr. denman, our 11th grade history teacher. the details are a tad sketchy though because i haven't spoken to aimmee about what exactly is going on and what time and whatnot! where is she?! (aimmee, aimmee lou, where are you?) i hope i figure out what's going on ASAP so i can invite jamelle [CAMS alumni, '01] to join us as well, just like last time. :) afterward, i do believe i will be visiting jackie! ah, i miss her dearly. then i suppose i will proceed with whatever else friday brings to me.

that is all. good night. :)
